Hi, and welcome to Fantasy Sports 101 where we're striving to provide alternative news coverage for the masses who play, and love, fantasy baseball, basketball and football.
We hope you enjoy what our site has to offer. At the heart of it is the goal to provide the most comprehensive, well-rounded sports and fantasy sports coverage as we possibly can. We take particular pride in providing all the information you need in order to make key trade and free agent decisions. Whether a player is in the news or not, you can check on his weekly status with our comprehensive Top 101 rankings, Free Agent Finder, opinion columns and fantasy news stories.
Here at Fantasy Sports 101, we believe that fantasy games do not need to stand alone from their real-sport counterparts. At the very least, additional news and columns can help make you a better, more well rounded fan. At the most, our fantasy items and player rankings, which we feel are some of the most thorough on the Web, can help you win fantasy championships.
Enjoy the site, be entertained and feel free to click on the contact links on this page to send staff members comments or questions.
Sincerely,
Dustin Hockensmith

I am currently a junior at Ohio University, where I study newspaper journalism. After graduation, I'm hoping to land a sports reporting job, preferably covering college basketball, at a high-level newspaper. Experiences thus far include: covering college baseball at OU's student newspaper The Post and providing basketball content for Fantasy Sports 101.
I am an avid music and sports fan, with favorite bands being Alice In Chains, Rage Against The Machine, Helmet and Kyuss. When not watching and covering sports, I also run and play soccer and basketball.

As a senior in my last semester at Penn State, writing as an intern for this site is a great way to go out. Who knows what the future of my life holds, but I hope following and writing about sports are parts of it.
As the son of a sportswriter, I grew up going to hockey games and following along with the sports page. The result? Tons of useless sports statistics and historical facts. If you need detailed statistics on the New York Rangers' 1994 Stanley Cup run, I'm your guy. Here's to a good spring of baseball, and for God's sake, let's go Mets!

My name is Anthony Oliva III. I am a 22-year-old sports journalism major at Penn State University. I’m currently a senior, and unfortunately I am leaving the friendly confines of Happy Valley when I graduate in May. My future plans are undecided, but in addition to my current experience with Fantasy Sports 101, my resume includes internships with ESPN, CSTV and the New York Racing Association.
I have been a sports fanatic my entire life and am a die-hard New York sports fan. Watching and playing sports are a very big part of my life and that’s a main reason why I am here with Fantasy Sports101. I have long been an avid fantasy sports player and this is the perfect site for me to write about one of my biggest passions.

I am a native of Hong Kong, China, a city of 7 million people which, at best, contains dozens upon dozens of baseball fans. I survived life in the baseball wilderness by watching Japanese Pacific League highlights off of a friend's Japanese satellite dish. Prior to living in Hong Kong, I lived in Toronto, where I watched Roger Clemens pitch at (the former) SkyDome and wondered what that dark blot on Roger's pants was all about.
I have won multiple championships in fantasy baseball, basketball, and football, although when it comes to football my draft strategy consists of taking quarterbacks with my first 8 picks and then forcing other owners to make unreasonable trades. I am currently a sixth semester junior at Penn State, but am in serious jeopardy of becoming a sixth semester dropout if I keep spending all my time on fantasy sports.

Hi, my name is Enea Zhonga, I’m a senior journalism major at Auburn University.
I first came to the United States when I was 9 years old and fell in love with professional sports. I couldn’t speak English, so playing sports like basketball, football, soccer, baseball, tennis and golf was my only means of communication. Experiences in those younger years have served me well in helping better understand sports and being able to cover them effectively.
I have been a sports writer for two years and loved every minute of it. I started at the Auburn Plainsman, the school's student-run newspaper, and am currently a freelancer for the Associated Press covering Auburn athletics. On Fantasy Sports 101, I hope to share my knowledge of sports and bring a new perspective to fantasy owners.
